Vai radaru detektori ir likumīgi?

Jautājums par to, vai radaru detektori ir likumīgi, Eiropā nav viennozīmīgi atbildams. Ir valstis, kurās radaru detektoru lietošana ir likumīga, savukārt citās ES valstīs aizliegts lietot tikai traucētājus. Citās valstīs ir atļauti tikai radaru detektori, kas ar GPS palīdzību ziņo par fiksētajiem fotoradariem, bet ne radaru uztvērēji.

AustriaXGPS devices with a POI warner as an "announcement function" are permitted. Radar warning devices that can be used to influence or interfere with technical traffic monitoring equipment are prohibited. These may neither be attached to nor carried on motor vehicles. Violators face an administrative fine of up to 5,000 euros and the device will be confiscated.

RomaniaRadar detectors are gererally Allowed. Legal regulation is currently being discussed.
SerbiaXXFine between 50 euros and 170 euros if used. In the event of an accident, up to 45 days imprisonment instead of a fine is possible. Navigation systems with POI function are allowed.
SlovakiaXXFine
SloveniaXOnly devices that actively interfere with the measurement are prohibited. Fine
