Ar radarų detektoriai yra teisėti?

Į klausimą, ar radarų detektoriai yra teisėti, Europoje negalima atsakyti vienodai. Yra šalių, kuriose radarų detektorių naudojimas yra teisėtas, o kitose ES šalyse draudžiama naudoti tik slopintuvus. Kitose šalyse leidžiama naudoti tik radarų detektorius, kurie per GPS praneša apie stacionarius greičio matuoklius, bet ne radarų imtuvus.

AustriaXGPS devices with a POI warner as an "announcement function" are permitted. Radar warning devices that can be used to influence or interfere with technical traffic monitoring equipment are prohibited. These may neither be attached to nor carried on motor vehicles. Violators face an administrative fine of up to 5,000 euros and the device will be confiscated.

RomaniaRadar detectors are gererally Allowed. Legal regulation is currently being discussed.
SerbiaXXFine between 50 euros and 170 euros if used. In the event of an accident, up to 45 days imprisonment instead of a fine is possible. Navigation systems with POI function are allowed.

SloveniaXOnly devices that actively interfere with the measurement are prohibited. Fine
